It's over the Arkansas river. It is the highest bridge in America and if you're afraid of heights it'll give you a major case of the willies. It is also the prototype for the Golden Gate bridge. It looks like miniature version of it. They built it to test the concept then proceeded to make the big one. I was just there the end of summer. Did you make it over to Sausalito? Judging by the angle of that picture, you were just down the shoreline from it. San Francisco people leave much to be desired but I do enjoy the city's atmosphere. I have tons of family there and so I travel down about once a year. But you couldn't pay me enough to live there or San Jose or any of those towns around the Bay Area, especially Oakland. Yuck!!! Happy New Year!
